Easter- junior 3 day outdoor course
Last week Edmund, Etinnen and Jeevan, spent one day at the centre perfecting their climbing and rope work skills. They then learnt about the equipment they would need for their outside adventure, then packed their kit.
Day one was at windgather roped climbing and bouldering, with progressively harder and longer routes, their knowledge of tying in, rope work, belaying and climbing safety was impressive. They also selected the routes they wanted to climb and saw how we set up the ropes, even having a go at placing the equipment required to set up a belay!
Day 2 was spent at Brownstones showing off their new found bouldering skills. They then rounded off the week, at the Rock Over Climbing Friday Party, with slacklining and more bouldering at the centre with their families.
it was a great few days and big thanks to the lads and their instructors Simon and Ryan.
